I was skeptical at first, but the makeup dissolver quickly removes any makeup. The cleanser then seems to work better, leaving my face feeling very soft and smooth. I would not recommend the makeup dissolver for use on or around the eyes - it made my eyes burn and did not remove waterproof mascara very well.
